-I continue to hear people cry about all the welfare money
for people who are dependent on the government. While I do agree that there are
some families that have been on welfare from generation to generation, the
amounts are so small that it is almost laughable. Most welfare recipients are
non‑black, adult, single mothers, who are on welfare less than two years at a
time. To think otherwise is to be misinformed. And misinformed is what
right-wing Republicans hope you are.
