Suppressing the Vote

Neither candidate for the Presidency, or for that matter, any office, ever mentions the poor. There's a lot of talk about the middle class, who Obama will help and Romney will add to the poor list, but not any talk about helping the poor. I suppose they both figure that they don't vote, which is somewhat true. Many are purged from the voting list by various unjust laws, one being felons, another being homeless individuals without identification. Whatever you did, or whatever your social status, in a democracy, you should have the right to vote. It is a fundamental right that should not be taken away by politicians. This is another rich man's game. In the scheme of things, it stinks. It definitely doesn't smell like democracy.
