Shopping in Hot Springs

Ah, the sweet smell of Christmas. I was in an art studio downtown and asked about a guy I saw a couple blocks away sitting on a bench. He seemed to be in pretty sad shape. I handed him a couple bucks, which he did not ask for. The lady in the shop stated that a panhandler outside of her business probably made more money than she did. I asked her why she didn't trade places with him? She didn't answer.
