The media coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing was just God awful.
The coverage is worse than the actual event. They just keep showing
scene after scene, repeating events 20-30 times in a row over a half
hour of coverage. I saw that 74 year old gentleman, who was a runner,
fall 30 times. Then the experts parade on. One after another, giving
their advice on what might have happened, and why. The event makes us
fearful enough, but the coverage drives home the fear to the bottom of
your psyche. It's all just a little too much. I had to take another
pill.
