TERROR

There's plenty to go around. The terrorist, domestic or foreign, picks and chooses the exact moment to strike. Patriots Day in Boston. The financial center of America, the Twin Towers. The federal building in Oklahoma.  Killing is not the essential, or most important part of a terrorist act. It is the fear generated from the act that the terrorist is looking for. Making you think twice before you leave your home or go to some public event. Looking at everyone as a possible suspect. There are multiple reasons why people commit terrorist attacks. At the heart of it, none of them can be ended. The only thing we can do is move on. Not let it make us "the living dead." Answering the call requires compassion, understanding, acceptance, and a personal commitment from all of us to not let fear immobilize us or let it overcome us with revenge and hatred. In our greatest hours of darkness, compassion and strength and goodness overcomes the evil. Evil will always be present, but goodness will always prevail.
