Yes, the changes were voted on in open meeting May 21st
but
with little fanfare, only Atkins recognized and took exception to this
“OVERLAY
ZONE” (defined as an area in HSV where the Protective Covenants DON’T
apply) and if you watch the video of the meeting (the last 10 minutes or
so) the
other Board members voting for it seem oblivious to the implications and
dangers this could present with no restrictions stated what so ever.
If an area is so designated by a Board (as
in a secret meeting) a “pig farm” or “subsidized housing” or “equestrian
center” or “mobile home park” can be put in the “designated” area of HSV and
you have nothing to say about it. You
might want to go back and ask the Board members that voted for this what is
their motivation for making HSV vulnerable?
