MOVING ON-ONE DAY AT A TIME

I've made a decision that I'm going to concentrate most of my efforts of community building in Hot Springs. Hot Springs Village is way too "Outer Limits" for me. I'm going to start at the Project H.O.P.E. food bank in Hot Springs next Tuesday. Looks like my job is going to be "the bread man." Pick up and deliver bread. I like that. On Tuesday and Thursdays. No more worrying about Hot Springs POA and directors. It ain't going to change. I'm going to feel my way around Hot Springs, looking to see what may need my expertise in stirring up the status quo. Maybe some writing or social action. Hot Springs is a much more diverse community. It has a lot more potential than Hot Springs Village. The only diversity in Hot Springs Village is attached to the past professions and careers of the people. As for now, most are mired in the status quo and prefer to hide behind the gates. Being mostly white and racist are two of our biggest problems. Being for the most part better educated is supposedly one of our assets, but I'm not so sure about that. My time and my interests are better served in Hot Springs.
