REMEMBERING WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

  • OUTDOOR JOHNS.
  • GOOD MUSIC.
  • MOTORIZED BIKES (A baseball card and a clothes pin, Hopefully, not a rookie Joe DiMaggio).
  • BACKYARD WIFFLE BALL, STICK BALL, BASEBALL GAMES. CORK BALL WAS PLAYED IN A CAGE. PITCHER, CATCHER, BATTER.
  • DRIVE-INS. (THEY DIDN'T NEED TO WASTE TIME SHOWING A FILM).
  • ROTARY PHONES. PARTY LINES. OUR NUMBER WAS 118.
  • POTLUCKS AT THE CHURCH.
  • HOME-MADE GO CARTS.
  • 1957 CHEVY. $800 IN 1965.
  • PLAYING DOMINO'S AND CANASTA.
  • MARBLES. JACKS. HOP SCOTCH. ALLEY, ALLEY OVER. HIDE AND SEEK. WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME PLAYING ARMY, WHICH LATER WE TRIED TO AVOID.
  • FIRST KISSES. HOLDING HANDS. PUTTING YOUR ARM AROUND YOUR SWEETHEART.  ACKWARD. HESITANT. ECSTATIC.
